On October 25, Verified Voting's President/CEO Courtenay Bhatia was interviewed on MSNBC. Ms. Bhatia responded to questions about potential problems with newly-deployed electronic voting systems -- problems that may impact the November 7 elections. She emphasized the need for elections officials to have backup plans for dealing with such problems and encouraged officials in jurisdictions employing electronic voting machines to have emergency paper ballots on hand should equipment problems occur on election day.
Ms. Bhatia also described how voters can participate in the Election Transparency Project to observe all aspects of the election process and to collect data that will be used to help improve voting procedures in future elections.
